Text a Message
Read a fairy tale aloud to your class. Discuss what kind of message a fairy tale character would send.
Example: Little Red Riding Hood- “Mom, call the woodsman! Grandmother is too hairy!”
Students then read another fairy tale and create their own text message.
Suggestion: What message would the Three Bears send to the police if Goldilocks hadn’t run away?
