Add a little fun to your classroom with this gumball machine filled with pencil erasers! Here’s how to get one!
We saw this great idea online, and decided to make one for our classroom! Best of all, we found the items on Amazon!
First, you’ll have to find a gumball machine that can hold and dispense erasers. We found one on Amazon (identical to the picture above) that is 12″ tall and made from cast metal and with a real glass dome, so it will hold up under years of use, unlike the cheaper plastic versions.
According to at least one Amazon reviewer, it is able to hold and dispense erasers with no issues. She was even able to paint it to match her school’s colors! It’s an “Amazon’s Choice” product, and can be purchased for under $30 with free Prime shipping.

Second, you’ll need a good (and inexpensive) source for pencil top erasers. Searching Amazon, we found a 300 piece lot of erasers from Habbi was the best deal, at about 3.5 cents per eraser with free Prime shipping.
