‘Llama Llama’ author Anna Dewdney passes away at age 50

Anna Dewdney, the author of the beloved “Llama Llama Red Pajama” books, died September 3 from brain cancer. She was at home in Vermont at the time of her passing at age 50. She is survived by her partner Reed Duncan and two grown daughters. 
Dewdney was an outspoken advocate of literacy and asked that in lieu of a funeral, family, friends and fans should read a book to a child instead.
